After graduating with an Honours Degree in Business, Doug commenced his career in Finance and Accountancy. Whilst working Doug studied and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He has worked in a variety of finance roles, last 17 years in management positions.

Since 2008 Doug has worked with the Trustees of Heel & Toe Children's Charity to establish and build a sustaining charity for children in the North East who have cerebral palsy and dyspraxia. It is a pleasure to be instrumental in the development of the charity and now to head up the next phase of Heel & Toe, by developing a therapy service that provides the highest calibre of experienced staff, with the most up-to-date equipment and software, but a pricing structure that is amongst the best value for money.
